DEVILBISS GETS COUPLE TOP FIVES IN FAIRGROUNDS SEASON FINALE!

CORTEZ, COLORADO (September 3 & 4, 2010)- Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, New Mexico went to the Fairgrounds Speedway in Cortez, Colorado to see if he can get his fifth and sixth win in a row in his IMCA Modified. Zippy was seen starting in the sixth spot in the heat race. Zane was able to make the transfer to the top twelve in the feature by finishing in the third spot. That finish gave DeVilbiss the eleventh starting spot for the feature. Zane made the top work early and was able to make it to the lead. Zane led the race until with about five laps to go, the track took rubber on the bottom which caused Zane to lose the lead and end up in fourth. The next day, Zane was seen starting in the sixth spot in heat race number one and was able to get the heat race win. That put Zane starting in the eleventh spot for the feature. Zippy was able to make it up to fourth by the end of the main on the one lane track. Zane will now head to the Atomic Motor Raceway in Atomic City, Idaho to try and get that WWMT Championship. He currently sits in second with only two points out of the lead.
