DEVILBISS TAKES SECOND IN AZTEC, NEW MEXICO AT AZTEC SPEEDWAY

AZTEC, NEW MEXICO. (June 12, 2010)- Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, New Mexico did not have to travel far to the Aztec Speedway in Aztec, New Mexico. DeVilbiss started in the fifth spot in the third heat race and was able to get to the lead on lap two, he led until the last lap until Garrett Higgins took the eight lap heat race win away from Zane due to Zane blowing a tire. Zippy would now be seen starting in the twelfth starting spot in the feature. By lap nine of the feature, DeVilbiss was in the fifth spot and then by lap thirteen, Zane worked his way to the second spot. He and Porter Smith battled neck and neck, DeVilbiss took the lead but, was put back to second due to the caution coming out on the speedway. DeVilbiss would come home with a second place finish. Zane will now get his car ready for the double-header at the Fairgrounds Speedway in Cortez, Colorado.
