EXACT OPPOSITES! ZANE WINS FRIDAY, WRECKED FOR WIN THE NEXT!
Story by: Team Jet Lift Racing

PRICE, UTAH (July 30 & 31, 2010)- Zane DeVilbiss headed to the Desert Thunder Raceway in Price, Utah to continue his great success at the Utah speed-plant. DeVilbiss won the last two scheduled races there which was the WWMT races. He doubled up with wins that weekend and was looking to do the same this weekend. Zippy was seen in heat race number two of the three scheduled heat races. DeVilbiss did what he had to do, that was to make the invert for the feature. Zane would start in the tenth spot in the feature. DeVilbiss was hit early on by a rough driver, causing his left rear tire to slowly go flat. Zane rocketed to the lead. By mid-way, the red flag was flown because of a nine car pile up in turn three. The race then resumed, Zippy led the entire race with a low left rear tire to win and it was a clean race up front, that win was his twelfth feature win of the season and his third in a row at Price. The next day was the exact opposite. The night started off great as he and teammate Chase Hansen battled for the heat race win. Zippy ended up in second but, that qualified him for the invert. Zane started tenth once again and was up front immediately. He and Chase Hansen battled side by side for most of the race up front, as they raced side by side, they never touched, they both gave each other a lot of room. DeVilbiss finally got the lead and was pulling away from the field. Towards the end of the race, the exact opposite happened. One driver decided to play rough with everyone. Hitting everyone to pass. That driver got to the front and was behind Zane. DeVilbiss was rooted out of the way for the win with two laps to go. Zane still ended up with a second place finish but, had a win taken away from him. Must be how they race on pavement in Salt Lake City. The way that DeVilbiss was raced Saturday for win, will not be forgotten. DeVilbiss will now head up to Idaho this weekend for some good racing action. Check back to see how it goes.
