LEXINGTON, NEBRASKA (July 18, 2010)- After coming off the second and third place finishes in Wyoming, Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, New Mexico headed east towards Nebraska. DeVilbiss hit the road to the Dawson County Raceway in Lexington, Nebraska. The race was $1500 to win and it was a BST Racing Series scheduled event. Zane had to do battle with Four time IMCA National champion David Murray Jr. and many other great IMCA racers from the Mid-West. Zippy started in the tenth spot in the heat race and made it up to finish in the fourth spot. By the time the feature came around, Zane was seen starting in the third spot. He had a great battle going with David Murray for the lead until a restart forced him to finish in the seventh spot. Zane will now head to the Lincoln County Raceway for the Sandhill's Shootout in North Platte, Nebraska on Monday and Tuesday July 19 & 20.

PLATTE, NEBRASKA
(July
19 & 20, 2010)-
After racing with some of the best in the mid-west in Lexington,
Zane headed to another Nebraska speed-plant in North Platte for the
twelfth annual Sandhill's Shootout held at the Lincoln County
Raceway. Zane started the night off with a third place finish in the
heat race behind former IMCA National champions, Dylan Smith and
David Murray Jr. Zane redrew seventh spot for the feature. Zane had
a good car as he rocketed his way into fourth and set his sights on
the leaders. Zippy ran out of laps and could not get by third and
second place and would finish in fourth. The second day, Zane would
find himself starting deep in the field in fourteenth spot. He put
on a clinic by using the “high-side” to get to eighth
position by the end of the feature. Zane will now travel back West
to defend his IMCA Western Region points lead.
