WINS DAY TWO OF BRANDON HASLEM MEMORIAL AT ATOMIC CITY!
Story
by: Team Jet Lift Racing
ATOMIC
CITY, IDAHO
(August
28, 2010)-
After dominating the races at the Idaho Falls Raceway in Idaho
Falls, Idaho the night before, Zippy traveled to another near by
race track called the Atomic Motor Raceway in Atomic City, Idaho.
Zane started on the outside front row in his heat race and ended up
winning the heat by little over half of a lap. That finish gave Zane
the second starting spot in the feature. The track was a little bit
tacky at the beginning and slicked off towards the end of the
feature. That did not matter as Zane took his #18Z DeVilbiss
Motorsports chassis to victory lane. That win helped Zane sweep the
weekend in Idaho and was his fourth IMCA win in a row. Zane will now
head to the Fairgrounds Speedway in Cortez, Colorado.

IDAHO
FALLS, IDAHO
(August
27, 2010)-
Zane DeVilbiss never thought that he would be racing this weekend
after losing the engine in his truck on his way home from sweeping
the weekend in Price, Utah. He borrowed a truck to go race this
weekend in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The last time Zippy was at the Idaho
Falls Raceway he put on a racing clinic by winning both races just a
few weekends ago. This weekends race was the Brandon Haslem Memorial
races both at Idaho Falls on Friday and the next night in Atomic
City. Zane started the night off by winning his heat race from his
fourth starting spot. That win transferred him straight to the
feature. Zane started in the third spot in the feature and was able
to take the lead early and come out on top to win the feature once
again. In doing so, he lapped up to the fourth position. He will now
head to the Atomic Motor Raceway in Atomic City, Idaho for another
night of racing in the state of
Idaho.

PRICE,
UTAH (August
20 & 21, 2010)-
After finishing second twice the weekend before in Cortez, Colorado,
Zane bettered that in Price as he finished first and first. Zane
started the weekend off with a heat race win in heat race number one
after starting near the rear of the heat. Zane then started in the
tenth spot in the feature. On the initial green flag start, There
was a chain reaction after the front running cars checked up. Zane
was hit in the rear but was able to keep on going. The restart was
great, that allowed Zane to run the top and take the lead early and
never look back. Zane was able to pull away from the field at the
end to win night one of the two day races in Price. The next day,
Zane brought home yet another heat race win. This time Zane would be
seen starting in the ninth spot in the feature. The track was not
ready to race on as it took Zane a bit longer than usual to get to
the front. Zane took the lead and again never looked back as he won
his fifth win of the eight races at the Price, Utah speed-plant.
That win narrowed the points battle for the track championship in
Price. Michael Hale leads Zane by only three points heading into the
last race of the season. The last race in Price is at the end of
September. Please stay tuned to see where Zane will be at next.

ZANE'S
NIGHT ENDED EARLY AT ATOMIC CITY!
Story
by: Team Jet Lift Racing
ATOMIC
CITY, IDAHO (August
7, 2010)-
After dominating both features at the Idaho Falls Raceway in Idaho
Falls, Idaho, Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, New Mexico was looking
to make it three wins in one weekend at the Atomic Motor Raceway in
Atomic City, Idaho. Zane has one victory under his belt at Atomic.
He took the victory in 2009 during the EQ IMCA Wild West Modified
Tour race. So, he has a really good chance at winning the race. Zane
would be seen starting in the ninth spot and won by an amazing
three-quarter of a lap and in doing so, he shattered Travis Metz'
track record by little over a second. Metz held the record for six
years and DeVilbiss took that away. By the time the feature came
around, Zane would be seen starting in the fifth spot in the main
event. Before the races started, a car had spun and Zane got tangled
with him but was able to continue. Zane got up to second on lap one
but, the car went straight into the wall on the front stretch,
destroying his race car. The main cause was from the incident before
the races even started. Zane will now be thrashing on the car trying
to get ready for the EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour twin-bill at
the Fairgrounds Speedway in Cortez, Colorado.

IDAHO
FALLS, IDAHO (August
6, 2010)-
Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, New Mexico made the long tow to the
Idaho Falls Raceway in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The track ran a make up
feature due to a rain out the weekend before. Zane had to start in
the rear of the field in the make up feature but that did not matter
as he got to the lead early and never looked back as he lapped up to
fifth place out of the sixteen starters. That win was his second at
Idaho Falls and his thirteenth of the year. After that race, they
ran the regular scheduled race. Zane started in the eighth spot in
the heat race and made it up to finish in the second spot. For the
feature, Zane would be seen starting in the third spot and would end
up taking the lead and doing the same as he did earlier that night
by winning the feature. Zippy will now head to the Atomic Motor
Raceway in Atomic City, Idaho for another day of racing.
